Friese House Added to Bethany Services |

Bethany Services recently acquired the property on 8th Street that used to house the old Friese Maternity Hospital, founded in the 1900s by Minnie Friese. Dormant for the last three years, the facility will be remodeled to provide a program to help the homeless. |

The BHC Housing Dept. is doin a really good job finding housing for homeless families. In the last two months the staff has changed the lives of 26 homeless families by helping them move into permanent housing. |

Guarantee Shoe Center recently completed their 17th Annual “Shoes for the Homeless” Shoe Drive. On Wednesday, April 22nd they collected more than 2,500 pairs of shoes and over half of them were brand new. |
